Questions we get asked
Can we run separate sites for different departments?
Yes. Each site has its own branding, domain, catalogue and administrators, and they are billed together on one account.
Does it work with our single sign-on?
Yes, through a standard identity provider connection. Learners and staff both sign in with your existing accounts.
Can instructors be stopped from editing other people's courses?
Yes, and that is the default. Permission and content scope are both checked on every write, so an instructor cannot reach another instructor's material even by guessing a URL.
Is there a live or classroom session feature?
Not today. Courses are self-paced with optional drip scheduling. If your programme depends on scheduled live sessions, that is a gap worth discussing before you buy.
Can we host the video on our own storage?
Yes. Point storage at your own S3 bucket and your media never lives with us.
